Icetech do server administration; upgrades; capacity
planning and management; system performance; configuration;
and software and hardware installations. (Patch Management)
Icetech ensures production jobs are run as scheduled and
monitors all server activity for problems; diagnosing and
resolving problems according to procedure. Escalates problems
to the appropriate levels necessary. Implements technology
decisions; and oversees user admin (adds; changes; deletes;
back-ups; file restores) in one or more operating environments.
Recommends hardware and software that will optimize systems
performance while maintaining levels of stewardship. Responsible
for systems development; design; network access; and remote
administration architectures. Develops server operating
procedures and participates in development of disaster
recovery plans.Provides specialized customer support in
certain areas as appropriate.
